Henrici regis sexti tandem eps Menevensis. Qui chronicon
scripsit dictus est maior. vbi alius Thomas Rodeborne,
monachus winton.
At the top of the first page of each quire and elsewhere names
of saints are written. Maria Mildreda Katerina Thomas.
Mildreda is especially frequent.
The form begins with a statement of the question, and then
states arguments, oppositions and conclusion.
At 273 is prohemium in forma variationis.
On and after 278 the form is somewhat different, and some
names of disputants are given, viz.:

Each Act is terminated by an oration of the Father, e.g. ff. 283,
294, 307 b.
The volume ends with an oration in praise of Oxford
Quamquam sepe quibus hanc almam matrem nostram
actubus perornatis
The speaker names some remarkable Oxford men :
uti Henricum Gandauum doctorem subtilem, Occam incept-
orem in theologia, Gilbertum et Gatisden in medicinis,
Lincolniensem Burley in moralibus et naturalibus, Bacon,
Aschinden, Bredon et Campanum in mathematicis
