amat (repeated elsewhere): and a shield with a merchant’s mark
(twice).
On ff. i b, ii a is the lower part of a document addressed ‘Patri-
archis, Archiepiscopis et episcopis’ in favour of dominus Jacobus
dicti domini noster pape capellanus, who receives powers under it,
the nature of which is uncertain to me. Ends of lines are cut off.
