I have not identified Prior John Danyell, nor, consequently, the
provenance of the book.
1. The first quire is occupied with the beginnings of an alpha-
betical Table to the Sermons. These begin on f. 8.

festiuitatibus principalibus apti et editi a magro Nicholao de
aque uilla uniuersitatis paris. sacre pagine confessore (!).
Dom. i. aduentus domini super epistolam. Sermo primus Hora
