A good initial in English style, coloured in red and green, con-
taining a figure (Scipio) in red tunic, beardless, with shield,
brandishing a sword.

There are very neat marginalia and diagrams, including a map
of the world on 160 b.
Ends 171a: continetur integritas.
A note (xiii) on the dimensions of the earth etc.
On 1713 a xvth-cent. note : noueritis me firmum habuisse pro-
positum ueniendi ad vos sed prohibitus sum usque adhuc (?)
perturbacionibus et infortuniis etc. (no names occur).
There are also inscriptions in Plebrew, two of them erased.
3. In a smaller and very good black xiith-cent. hand : 42 lines to
the page.
