On 1 a John SctLeger. Below it an erased inscription in
English, unimportant.
On 1 b a table of kings, William I to Henry VII, written in the
lifetime of the last. His burial-place is added in a later hand.
Dates of accession, coronation, death, with lengths of reign and
burial-place, are given.
f. 2 blank.
On 3 at top in large black letters : Petrus Shee.
On the last leaf (xvi) is : H. Bourgchier.

Chapters are numbered up to 99 (Edward II) but not after-
wards.
Ends in 14 Henry VI with the death of James of Scotland.

In the margin : non audeo plus propter metum iudeorum.
The same text is in Mm. 5. 20 of the University Library,
Cambridge, ending at the same point but in different words.
