A heart outlined in gold : within it a double cross also out-
lined in gold. The figure of Christ on it: blood flows from
the wounds. Below, grass : above, an ornament of flowers
in blue and red, and gold studs. Within the heart sur-
rounding the cross the Hymn O crux salue speciosa (as
above) followed by : Adesto nobis domine deus noster et
quos sancte crucis letari facis honore eius quoque perpetuis
defende presidiis. Per etc. At top in red : Ihesus Naza-
renus rex iudeorum, and down the sides : This cros fiat here
peyntyd is. signe of be cros of bromholm is.
Below in a bad hand : thys ys the holy cros that ys so good,
be me mary Euerard.
