Orangery at Wrest Park, Bedfordshire. In the case of this handsome building, the glass lights,
which have been substituted for the original roof, are nearly hidden by the balustraded parapet.
Orangery at Heveningham Hall, Suffolk. A bowed glass roof has been substituted for the
original roofing. The cast-iron cresting to the ridge and hips of the new roof is a doubtful
advantage, calling undue attention to what is, architecturally, of the nature of a blemish.
