John Webster, of Burton, surgeon, do hereby certify and
attest, that, from six o’clock this evening to the present time,
being four hours, we have most diligently and attentively
watched Ann Moore during the said four hours (having first
entered the room before the preceding watches withdrew);
and we are fully satisfied, and do declare, and will maintain,
that she has not received any food whatever, liquid or solid,
in the course of that time, and that our said watch has been
conducted in strict conformity with the regulations pre-
scribed.
