It seems most probable that the sixth dean is
Marcello Bacciarelli himself, who held the title of
honorary Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Fine
Arts until his death on 5th January 1818; the scene
would, then, show the establishment of this particu-
lar faculty or the Department of Fine Arts.
