Wood-roofed tombs 'with a single chamber, type A.i.a.
Group c.
The tombs of group c are substantially
of the same construction as the tombs of
group bj but they are probably subsequent
in date because they are in the later part
of the cemetery and oriented like the large
tombs near by. N. 1606 may be taken as
the best example of the group.
N. 1606. Rectangular grave cut in alluvial strata,
with the axis pointing 500 east of south.
The lower part is enclosed by a perpendi-
