N 7321. Map E-5. Figure 85 c, d.
GRAVE: 120X105-75 cm. Figure 85 c.
BURIAL: Adult male on left side, plundered. Figure 85 d.
GRAVE GOODS: None recorded, but see below. UCLMA 6-3513, RW. dish fragments.
H. 3.0, D. 11.o cm.
Plundered head lies upright with face down. Lower jaw behind shoulder. The teeth of lower
jaw especially (1) worn down to almost nothing on their outer edges, indicating a man of ad-
vanced age. Mass of intestinal matter in pelvis. Against left lower arm near elbow was a leather
pouch (2) made of the skin of some animal with soft short brown hair. Undeterminable whether
hair side was in or out. End of leather thong attached to pouch in a large knot. Two small pieces
of charcoal on floor next to left elbow near pouch. Under matting of Type I, lengthwise.
UCLMA 12-4996.
N 7322. Map E-5. Figure 85 e,f.
GRAVE: 100X70-75 cm. Figure 85 e.
BURIAL: Adult female on left side, plundered.
GRAVE GOODS: None.

N 7323. Map E-5. Figure 85 g.
GRAVE: 90X85-75 cm. Axis 550 W. of N. (No diagram.)
BURIALS: A. Adult female on left side, plundered.
B. Half-grown child (sex?) on left side, plundered. Figure 85 g.
GRAVE GOODS: None.
Skull of woman missing except for lower jaw, the teeth of which indicate her age as not much
over 30 [E. S.]. The child [age perhaps 12 or 13. E. S.] lay with its knees above and resting on
knees of woman. Its skull was also missing. A common under matting for both burials of Type
I, lengthwise.
N 7324. Map E-5.
Note: This number appears to have been assigned originally to the eastern part of N 7325, but
there are no notes on it, except the following anatomical comments on two bodies, which, how-
ever, it seems impossible to correlate with specific burials in N 7325. Ed.
[Female (most northern) 44.8 + 39.5+44.7+43.2 = 172.2 cm. (without scalp or sole). Head
squashed in and probably exaggerates height. Mastoid to vertex 17.1 cm. Another in same
grave, probably female. 19.0 + 32.5 + 28.5+46.0+42.8 = 168.8 cm. E. S.]
