Bones entirely disturbed, some on floor, others, including skull in filling 20 cm. above floor. The
skull was that of an adult well on in years (teeth worn over) and probably female. Both mattings
well preserved along west side. Upper and under mattings alike, each consisting of two separate
mattings, all laid lengthwise. The under matting consisted first of a matting of Type I {very
fine cross threads); on this were placed the burial and objects. Then came the upper matting in
reverse order, first the matting of grouped fibers and over this the single fiber matting.
