Il panorama di Napoli manifesta in tutto il suo splendore la gran-
dezza e la bellezza del golfo, inaiarne alla maestosità del Vesuvio.
Il pino che si osserva è più volte secolare. Dalla balconata di un
angolo orientale della Certose di S. Martino ai gode la veduta più
estesa e più completa del panorama; ai vede la città a volo d’uccello
e si sentono così chiare le voci dei venditori ambulanti ed i rumori
della popolazione che sembra trovarsi in mezze a laro.

deur et la beauté du golfe, ainsi que la majesté du Vésuve.
Le pin que l’on remarque et qui domine la Ville, est plusieurs
fois séculaire. Du balcon à balustres qui se trouve à l’angle Est de
la Chartrouse de 6t. Martin, on jouit d’un panorama plus complet et

The pine tree is centuries old. From the railed balcony at the
east corner of the Certosa of S. Martino a moat extended and com-
plete view can be enjoyed. A brid’a eye view of the city i* obtained,
