whole holiday, and after a good and close game, resulted in
a victory for the College by 6 runs. The weather was
exceedingly fine, and there was a good attendance of the
fair sex. For N. C, Ranking and Roberts1 played well,
whilst Patisson and Mackie were most conspicuous for the
