DER NEUENHEIMER.

S

slightly and Stuttgart regardless of „Man hurt" dribbled
the ball in and scored their second try by a mistake
of the referee. Stuttgart converted. Stuttgart now began
to press again and the ball although once or twice kept
well in the middle of the field seemed always to find
its way back to the Neuenheim 25 where some very
rough play on the side of the Stuttgarters was wit-
nessed. Just a few minutes before time Stuttgart pressed
Neuenheim to the goal line, the latter just managing to
save by holding one of the Stuttgarts up. A five yards
scrum was formed and the ball being passed out to the
Stuttgart 3/j, they got in and scored once more but
failed to convert. A minute or two more and time was
up. Leaving Stuttgart victorious 13 pts to 5.

For Neuenheim. Dickie and Landvoigt II were es-
pecially noticeable. O'Ffynn was very good at half and
his splendid shot for goal saved us a worse beating.
Follit and Christie did splendid work in the scrum and
in the open. On the whole Neuenheim played a vey
good game, the tackling right through being splendid,
and we may safely say that if it had not been for Land-
voigt's unfortunate accident at half-time, we would have
at least drawn if not won.

Neuenheim College: Dickie (back), Mr. Girdlestone,
Landvoigt I, Forster, Landvoigt U (8/4), Dr. O'Flynn
and Startin (1/2 s.).

Messrs. Hill, Garrod and Follit, Christie, Stooks,
Owen, Haslam II, Devitt.

Referee: Mr. A. Roosefelt.

Neuenheim v. Heidelberg.

A very unequal contest owing to Neuenheim having
been so unlucky during the second half of the season
as regards accidents.

Heidelberg kicked off and Dickie returned well
into touch. A sharp line out followed and the ball
being held a scrum was formed and Neuenheim pressed
Heidelberg into their 25. Here some smart play was
witnessed among the Heidelberg 3/., line the ball being
first passed out to Royle who being collared by
