REVIEW OF THE CRICKET SEASON.
The Cricket as usual has been hindered by the weather.
Last year it was owing to the rain and this year to the dry
weather, which made it very hard to keep the pitch in order.
Games were very seldom stopped for the rain, and only one
match was abandoned for that reason. The eleven improved
very much all round, especially in fielding. The bowling has
been fairly successful on the whole. Park bowled very well
