DER NEUENHEIMEE.

27

C. F. Woodward, I met in Poona the other day, he is
attached to the 3rd Bombay Infantry, and is the same cheery
chap as ever.

R. T. 0. Calvert (Tommy) has been appointed Adju-
tant of his Regiment, 20th Bombay Infantry. I met him pig-
sticking last year, and he is as keen after the wily boar as he
used to be after the wily chaffinch in the woods behind
Handschuhsheim.

P. Molloy (Kleiner) has been employed in the Intelli-
gence Department of the Admiralty for the last six months
and returns to China this month (June). May he be in time
for the show with the rebel Boxers.

A. C. Edwardes shortly takes up the appointment of
Adjutant of the 2nd Bombay Grenadiers, he is at present in
the same station as the writer, and many a long " buck " of
old Neuenheim do we have.

G. M. Molloy (Grosser) has been appointed Adjutant
of his regiment the 4th Bombay Cavalry (Poona Horse).

H. Howell, I see from the papers, is in hard training
for the " Diamonds," that ho may be as successful this year
as he was last, is the wish of all who have met him.

L. P. Ashburner was sent from Burmah, where he was
with his regiment, the Durham Light Infantry, to South
Africa, at the beginning of the war, with the Mounted
Infantry, and I hear has done very well on more than one
occasion.
