DEE NEUENHEIMEK.

S. Herbert (list. 4lbs.) One of the most earnest workers
among the forwards. Though not brilliant he proved
most useful and never seemed to tire.
Gr. Smythe (9st. 12lbs.) Though new to the game, he set
himself hard to learn it, and it was not long before he
mastered it, and became one of the best forwards,
being especially smart in the loose. Should improve
in tackling.
A. Fallowfield (list. 2lbs.) A forward, who proved very
good on occasions, but grew somewhat stale towards
the end of the season.
K. H. Devitt (list.) A plucky and energetic half. Con-
sidering the time it is since he last played football,
his performances on the few occasions on which he
was needed were distinctly creditable. Inclined to be
reckless in his passing.

Reynolds (8st.) A very light half, but in spite of this
drawback he played a keen game and made very good
openings. He left at Xmas, and Devitt took his
place.
Edgar (lOst. 51bs.) A fast wing three-quarter, who im-
proved considerably in the Easter term. Should have
more confidence and learn to mark his man better.
Stirke (12st.) A heavy but slow forward. Might do better
if he put more energy into his work, and was not
quite so fond of hearing his own voice.
Vaughan (9st. 81bs.) Although very light ia comparison to
the other forwards, he played a most consistent game
and was distinctly the best forward out of touch.
Weak at collaring.
