DER NEUENHEIMER.

school, but a school which is all athletics is, if mental education counts
at all, a still worse one. It sets a false standard, and teaches a lad to
attach inordinate importance to physical qualities which in most cases
will have passed before he is thirt}', and little or no importance to the
qualities upon which his happiness, his success, and even his bread-
winning may depend for thirty or forty years after.

Our New Senior House.

Just before the end of last term Mr. Hill purchased No. 17 Klose-
strasse as a New Senior House. In many respects it is an immense
improvement on the old one. It is beautifully situated in a quiet and
select neighbourhood and commands a magnificent view oü the Odenwald.
It is fitted throughout with electric bells and has a spacious garden at
the back. The sanitary arrangements are perfect. It is constructed and
fitted throughout on the most modern lines, as it had just been built
when Mr. Hill acquired it. It is at present in charge of Möns. Malon,
Mr. Nieholls and Möns. Gal-Ladeveze.
