What were the exact limits of the dominions
of Iiekatomnus in Caria, whether a portion of
those dominions was hereditary, or whether Caria
was assigned to him on a repartition of satrapies
after the death of Tissaphernes, are points on
which we have no sure information; nor can we
ascertain whether this prince was in any way
