composed of two rooms, in a large part retains the original decor
and furnishings. The drawings, caricatures and puppets hung on
the walls lend “Jama Michalikowa” a unique charm and make it
a living museum of the picturesque epoch of the “Green Baloon”
cabaret.
Slightly east of the St Florian gate and the town walls, opens
the sweep of the Holy Ghost Square. Originally, the place was
taken up with the hospital, monastery and church complex of the
Holy Ghost, which played a very important role in the life of the
town. In 1891, though, this fine monument was demolished to
