From Slawkowska Street to Szczepanski Square one can take
either of two routes: along St Mark Street and left into Refor-
macka Street, passing the seventeenth-century church and mo-
nastery of the Reformed Franciscan order, and a front yard with
the Stations of the Cross painted by Michal Stachowicz; or,
following Szczepanska Street, with some ancient houses, off the
Market Square. The Pear (“Pod Gruszk^”) House (no. i) has fine
stuccowork by Baldassare Fontana.
