From the copies considered it is not safe to draw deductions
as to the manner and precise style of either Antenor or Kritios and
Nesiotes. We are justified in recognising the broad characteristics
of their age—the formal archaic hair, the long pointed chin, the
schematic rigid grouping; further it would not be safe to go.
