Munich 298 (S.H. pi. 9). Four wings. Copen-
hagen (C.V.A. pi. 87,4and 10). Snake; griffon-birds
and floral. Oxford 1878, 181 a, from Cumae. Ox-
head; tongues at base and no lines below design.
Carthage (Delattre, Nee. de Douimes, 27). As last.
Found with nos. 64, 519, and an aryballos (type
unspecified) with a panther. Close in style to nos.

Without bounding lines to the picture. Shape B 1.
F.o. not very thick. Small vases; average height
c. 7 cm. These vases are common in early Corinthian
graves,1 but no doubt continue into the early sixth
century, the following list gives a selection from a
very large number.
