Upon the left side is (11. i-3) the de hetep seten formula to " Mut-urt, Lady of Asher,
Lady of Heaven, and Mistress of the gods", that she may give f'/?er-Mmi-offerings
at the monthly and halfmonthly festivals, and at ail festivals of heaven and earth
daily for Mentuemhat. Ll. 4-6 are much mutilated. Another prayer to Mut for " ail
good and pure things" is given in L 7. Ll. 9-11 record that Mentuemhat " made great
her (Mut's) altars, spread lier lire (?), and provisioned her house in ail [good] things".
That he was " great of monuments in Thebes and great of glory in the Southern
Country " (Upper Egypt). The inscription runs :

of the feet are recorded the name and titles of Mentuemhat. The line on the right side
" Ae<7-prince of the hills or désert"; that on the left
