A fragment of a side-board, apparently like the above, was found in K IV in the section
nearest K III and probably came from K III;
K IV comp. 9:
Section, 10 X 9 cm.
Another fragment found in K III may have been from this bed, but I was unable to
identify the part from which it came:

Fragment, 5 X 7.5 cm.

Fragment from head and thorax of scorpion, showing three legs on one side and two on

14.2 cm. Cf. scorpions of blue faience (see Beads and Amulets, p. 131).
(c) Ram:
Kill comp. 17/3:
Fragment from front part of head of ram; Photo. B 2277, No. 1. Pl. 37, 4.
About half life-size.
(d) Hawk’s head:
K III comp. 14/3:
Fragment broken from some large object (bed, chair, throne of statue?). A projecting
end (like the end of a beam), section about 10 X 10 cm., rilled surface on top and with
a hawk’s head on front. Length, 19.2 cm.; Photo. A 2021, No. 1. Pl. 37, 2.
(e) A quadruped {2):
K III comp 4/1:
A fragment showing the fore-hooves of a bull, or some other cloven-hoofed animal.
H., 7 cm.; w., 13 cm. The hooves are colored black.
