(7) Ceremonial mace-heads
There were two ceremonial mace-heads of faience, both variations of the bulbous form,
one decorated and one plain. (Pl. 48, 3, 3/1 and 2.) See Chapter XXX, Stone Imple-
ments, 5.
(8) Earstuds
A few earstuds of faience were found (see Chapter XXVIII, Bone and Ivory, Earstuds).
These were cut from pieces of broken vessels and all but one were made in two pieces —
a circular plate and a stem of the form used in the ivory earstuds. The stem was attached
to the underside of the plate by a round peg and dowel.
