from the face of the mastaba on

the east (south and north) but was probably farther away on the west (valley side) (100-130 cm.).
I reconstruct it with a doorway on the southern end of the west side (cf. N 1506).
Substructure: open pit lined with c.b. and divided into a main chamber with two small chambers
at each end (cf. type I A (2), with stairway descending from valley side). Roofed with two or
three wooden roofs supported on (1) the c.b. walls, (2) the middle of the upper c.b. walls, and
(3) on the tops of the upper walls. Stairway entrance to main chamber roofed with wood and
blocked with c.b.
