DESCRIPTION OF TOMBS OF TYPE II C
Type II C. Open pit lined with c.b.; with single chamber and stairway,
i-lxviii. QS 2105: see Quibell, Archaic Mastabas, p. 19; Dyn. II?: see Fig. 52.
Superstructure: c.b. filled two-niche mastaba; with two unequal niches. Jars in trench.

Note that the chamber has its long axis E-W and is entered from the end as the tomb of
Wedymuw.

Superstructure: filled c.b. mastaba with palace-fafade panelling; enclosing wall, 1-05 m. thick all
round; distant from footing of mastaba, 1-5 m. on east and 0-75 m. on the other three sides;
entrance to corridor chapel at south end of east wall, through an ante-room. Corridor on east
face closed at each end and probably roofed over.
