With large ivoodeut on title and on last leaf showing a death’ s-head
surrounded by a white circle and attributes of the death, a woodcut
diagram in the text and many very fine initiais white on black

Not in Brunet. This work by the famous theologian Clichtoveus on death is one
of the very few not printed by Estienne and one of the first printings of Simon
de Colines bearing his name. Clichtoveus was one of the first who untertook to
réfuté Luther. Old ownership entry on title, a few old annotations.
