many little ones as you pleafe: this done,
according as you would have your pi-
cture either greater or lefs , make an-
other square greater or left , which di-
vide into as many equal squares, which
be drawn with a black lead plummet.
11. Take your black lead pen y and
draw the picture by little and little, paf-
sing from square unto (quare (by the ex-
ample of the pattern) until you have
gone all over with it: obferving, that
in what part of the fquare the picture
lies, you draw the like part in the
square anfwerable thereto, till you have
finiftied the whole.
