Q and mixed with a little spirit of
Urine, makes a milk^ white mixture in a
moment : which by addition of Aqua
Fortis, immediately again becomes trans-
prent.
II. Is Sublimate two ounces., and Tin*
tfas one ounce be (ublimed together,
you will have a iublimatenot inferiour
to the beft orient Vearls in the world.
III. Silver diflblved in Aqua fortis,
and evaporated to drynefs , and sair
water poured two or three times there-
on, and evaporated, till the calx is dry,
leaves it of a Snow whitenefs : which
rubbed upon the skin, (wetted with
fpittle, water or the like ) produces a
deep blacknefi) not to be obliterated in
Tome days.
With this^ Ivory^ hairy and horns may
dyed in fair water os a lajiing blacky
