green. Iron must be made into a crocus
in a reverberatory fire 5 os which eight
or ten grains will tinge the (aid ounce
of mixture into a yellow or hyacinth
colour. Silver is to be dissblved in Aqua,
sortis and precipitated, with oyl of ssints,
then dulcisied with water and dryed, of
this sive or six grains to an ounce gives a
mixed colour. Gold muft be dissblved in
Aqua. Regis 6 and precipitated with liquor
os ssints, then sweetned and drycd} of
which sive or six grains to one ounce
gives a glorious Sapherine Colour. Gold
melted with Regulum Martis nitrofiis
sive or fix grains to one ounce, gives an
incomparable Riubine colour. Magnefia
in powder only ten or twelve grains to
One ounce, makes an Amethyft Colour.
Granaia in powder only ten or fifteen
grains to one ounce, will tinge the mafs
into a glorious Smaragdine Colour, not
unlike to the natural.
