mouse, which he holds in his left hand. Engraved.

14. A young lady, seated at a table, looking over a music-
paper, and holding a guitar in her lefthand; her hair is decked
with pearls, and her dress consists of a violet-coloured corset,
and a yellow petticoat, enriched with black lace: a vase of
ssowers and a carpet form the accessories. Dated 1677.

15. An Interior, with two figures: a pretty young woman,
standing at a table, cleaning fish; and an officer behind the
table, resting one hand on her shoulder, and holding a glass of
wine in the other : near the girl are a pewter pot and a tureen ;
and in different parts of the room various other kitchen
utensils.

16. An assemblage of objects of still life: amongst them are
a basket of red cabbage; another, full of eggs ; some carrots,
two plucked ducks, and a dead cock. Most exquisitely finished.
