nymph, with her twin children, are on the left of the picture ;
the former, attired in a yellow silk robe and a white scarf,
kneels against a bank, holding her two babes in her arms,
and looking with an imploring countenance at the peasants,
one of whom, standing in the brook with a spade in his hand,
is undergoing the penalty of his unfeeling conduct. The
landscape is by the hand of Wildens. Description, No. 198,

chief, and a black silk mantilla ; a splendid brooch and chain
