LIST OF AWARDS.

CLASS A. DECORATIVE ART.

A ix. Design for an Embroidered Alms-Bag.

In addition to a large number of coloured drawings, a few
actual specimens of work were submitted in this competition,
among these latter the one by Habdank, reproduced below,
being the best both as regards design and utility. The design
to which the first prize has been adjudged is an expensive
one to carry out, but as no stipulations were made in regard
to cost, this is of course not a disqualification. The awards are
as follows :—

First Prize (Three Guineas): Tramp (David Veazey,
27 Rectory Place, Woolwich, S.E.).

Second Prize (Two Guineas): Libra (Charles E.
Cundall, 7 Stanley Grove, Springfield, Sale, nr. Manchester).

Hon. Mention : Tramp (D. Veazey); Habdank (Sophie
Hankiewicz); Trevose (Edw. Willis Paige) ; Pat (Mary
Croonan); Satin-Stitch (Maud Neville); Brownie (Miss
Laura G. Puttick) ; Francesca (Miss M. A. von Janeck);
Holy day (V. Oppenheimer and E. Pirchan); Rosea (Rose

Auckenthaler) ; Sarah Hannah (Winifred Little) ; Sun-
worshipper (James Hall).

A xi. Design for a Show-card
for Chocolate.

The prize of Five Guineas, offered by Messrs. II. J.
Packer & Co., Ltd., of Greenbank, Bristol, has been
awarded to Isis (Miss T- Stratton, 113 Abingdon Road,
Kensington, W.)

CLASS C. PHOTOGRAPHS FROM
NATURE.

C vii. A Seascape.

First Prize (One Guinea): The Grey North Sea (John
M. Whitehead, Alva, Scotland).

Second Prize (Half-a-Gumea): Mars (Max Brunner,
2 Johnstrasse, Berlin, 59'.

(Bag of dove-coloured cloth with mouth
xormed of black circular ring of metal;
decoration of narrow gold braid with
