Of twelve pieces of A'o
costume descended from
Hideyoshi six were labelled
tsho (costume), four kari-
ginu (hunting costume)
and two han-giri (brocade
trousers). There were
besides more than two
hundred pieces of No
costumes, all rich with
gold and silver yet with
their gorgeousness subduct 1
by harmonious colour and
invested with that deep
aristocratic tone which we
find exclusively in the best
of old No costumes. There
was also a complete set of
dresses for the Chinese
wrestlers. It is said that
this was one of the three
rE set of chinese wrestler's dress (temt. taiko hideyoshi) SetS tnat; Were donated by
(Nishi Hongwanji sale, ym) the King ofCorea to
