BRITISH MARINE PAINTING

THIS Special Number of The Studio will be devoted to a survey of British
Marine Painting during the last hundred years, and will deal with the work of
prominent artists who have addressed themselves to this particular phase of
pictorial art. Both sea and coast subjects will figure amongst the illustrations.

There will be sixteen plates in facsimile colours, and about eighty full-page
illustrations in monotone. An important article will be contributed by Mr.
A. L. Baldry. The edition will be strictly limited, and those who desire to
obtain copies should place their orders at once.
