The Dining Room is of the Stuart Period, details of the design having been very
carefully carried out. It is made of well-seasoned Oak, constructed in a workmanlike
manner, and finished a very beautiful Brown, and is enriched with some very fine
Carvings.
The Sideboard is 5 ft. long, and is fitted with commodious cupboards and drawers,
price of which is £16 19 6
Dinner Waggon, 3 ft. 6 in. long, en suite, is fitted with good cupboards and drawers,
price of which is £5 7 6
The Dining Table when fully extended measures 3 ft. 6 in. wide by 6 ft. 6 in. long, has a
draw-out leaf each end, and saves all trouble of unwinding and loose leaves, the table
being instantly converted, larger or smaller, as the case may be. Price £7 10 0
Palm Stand is made with twisted legs, price of which is £2 15 0
The Cromwell Settee is of the luxurious order, is upholstered in Velhyde, two loose
cushions in the seat, the under-frame carved, and the margins studded with large oxidised
White Metal Nails, price of which is £11 19 6
The Small Chairs are with seats upholstered in Velhyde, to match the set, and cane
backs of a very charming design, prices of the small chairs are each 39s 6d
and the Elbow Chairs each 59s 6d
There is also a large Wing Easy Chair, which is en suite with the Settee, price of
which is £6 18 6
