mund Hentze illustrate verses written by him in the style of the old folk
songs. The small grand (p. 66) is of birch, painted a transparent bluish
green which allows the grain of the wood to assert itself. The medallions
are by Henrik Larsen. This piano is the property of Mr. F. Sielle, of
Copenhagen.
Miss Helena Hall, illustrations of whose heraldic embroidery have appeared
in a previous volume of this Year-Book, has recently designed two sets of
encaustic tiles for the surrounds of fireplaces. Theyare to be carried out in
any two colours to suit the general tone of a room. The two sets shown
