Now the ourificatton of formula of recitation
(Mantra suddhl):

Then after performing the recitation of the formula
of sage, chanda (Hhythm),divinity root (bi3a) and
sakti (energy) uptoif the word "assigned to the
worship " (pujayam 31niyogam) of the 'mula mantra*.
(Principal formula of recitation i.e., the formula of
Subhadra), the principal formula is to be recited
ten times.

(Then) the assignment of letters (aksara nyasa) of
the formula (Principal formula -mula mantra'! shall be
performed.

Then the Irghya samtfskara (purification of offerable i.e.
water in the conch on atriood. (21)
