ablution (of the divinity)

as follows s-

Before the ritual of bath -
TheVeda shall be studied and musical instruments shall
be played. While these will be done, ^he
(goddess) shall be bathed with this (following) formula
with water from the ' \dhibasa kalasas'
(water pots arranged in the orevious day) in order
to beginning from the onein the south-east
(agnekona).

On taking the pot on the south-eastern side -
rt0m Samudram jyesthah satfltlasya
madtfdhyat puranayatvam nubisamanah /
Indroyabajri brsabhoraradana
