sensation, that I protest it osten turned

desired Mrs. Thicknesse would return the

stie had set her heart upon having my full
length portrait, I would rather give Mr.
Pine his fifty guineas for painting it, than
be so daily reminded and sicken’d at the
sight of such a glaring mark of disregard
from a man I so much admired, and so
affeflionately esteemed. This she con-
