Printed Material published in the 16th and 17th Century in the German-Speaking Areas (VD 16, VD 17)

Heidelberg University Library is participating in the nation-wide project to digitize all indexes from books printed in German speaking countries in the 16th century (VD 16) and 17th century (VD17), which can be regarded as retrospective national bibliographies.

The digitized printed books from Heidelberg are primarily unique copies, which are referenced in no other collection.
