La figure supérieure est le développement partiel de la frise
régnant tout autour de la panse du cratère. — Le pied de l'objet
est particulièrement remarquable, d'abord par sa décoration
sobre et bien entendue, et ensuite par la pureté et l'élégance de
sa forme. — Les anses méritent aussi d'être mentionnées.

The upper drawing represents the development of part of the
frieze encircling the body of the Cratera. — The foot of the
vase is particularly rcmarkable for its sober and clever orna-
mentation as well as for the élégance and pureness of its out-
line. The handles are also very noticeable.
