Nous devons à l'obligeance de M. Donzel, peintre distingue
de pouvoir montrer ces extraits d'un album de Ch. Marchai,

of the lamented Ch. Marchai, who both in bis person and
artistic works was so sympathetic to ail.
The sketch book from which the above are extracted pre-
sented most numerous and varied drawings executed with
the care this regretted artist showed in ail his works as wel'
as of the profound love he bore to his native land ; but we bave
only reproduced, those which could présent some interest to
our readers.
