OBSERVE

The center of A B. is at F. from that, or from a

Corresponding distance, sweep the arc A. B.

The center of C. D. is at E. from which, to
determine its truth, sweep C. D.

The centers of E. F. are, the upper one at C. which
sweeps from C. to the middle, or half, of C. B : the
lower center is at F. which sweeps from the middle,
or half, of C. B. to B.
