saucers. 3 is an example of the comnionest kind of cup, thousands of whioh eneumbered
the site. 4 is covered with a coarse blaok eoat in imitation of metal. 5 is a specimen of
" Liliputian " wäre, not nearly so common at Phylakopi as at Hissarlik.
6. Brown paint round rim,
9 and 13 have flat rims (cf. 2).
11. Coat of red ; has had a loop handle attached horizontally.
Kim flattencd inside and covered with liglit coat of brown ; has had similar handle on
other side.
