It is practically impossible to give details. The work
is rather like a common-place book, into which are
copied sermons, sermonettes, s&nt&ntice, and religious
table-talk. There are three sermons of St. Augustine,
several extracts from Hugh of St. Victor (on the Psalms
and Miscellanea), sermons and sententice of St. Bernard,
with much that cannot be traced, including a little
treatise on the Virgin, from the text: Que est ista
que ascendit sicut aurora.
It is practically all sermons, and many are probably
Bernard’s. There is one : de transitu S. Malachie
episc opi.
