Old binding, battered, little left save the boards. Double-
columns of 44-49 lines : initials slightly ornamented. Be-
ginning and end of the work lost, and many leaves missing..
No marks of provenance.
Collation :-[The whole of the first quire is apparently missing].'

the end of the volume].

[There were three sermons for each Sunday in the year..
The volume, as we have it, begins nearly at the end
of the second sermon for Advent Sunday : and ends,
with the first sermon for the 23rd Sunday after
Trinity.]

Old binding, with title on back : Aug. de Trinitate. Double-
columns of 33-35 lines. A well-drawn portrait of
St. Augustine, in full canonicals, on folio 158, and a well-
ornamented V on folio 144. Other initials plain in red and
blue.
On first fly-leaf :
Liber sancte Marie de Cirecestre abbatis primi Serlonis
tempore scriptus per manus canonicorum D.
Ade postea abbatis et Fulconis postremo prioris
sub Gilberto tunc Cantore primo. [Serio, the
first abbot, held office 1131-1147.]
